We read somebody else’s sequence, find where it diverges from what the building needs, and write the correction.
The rest is plant diagnostics and owner’s-rep review of other people’s designs. Boyt Services has been independent since 2022; the work behind it goes back to 2006.
What we do
Building automation
Sequence review, controls programming, and finding the failures that never alarm. Most systems called obsolete are not.
Building science
Humidity, condensation and pressure problems, worked from measurement rather than from the drawings.
Consulting and technical support
Design and proposal review before you sign, and verification that what you bought is what got installed.
The shape of most of it
A building is not doing what somebody expected, and the reason is buried in a sequence, an override, a sensor or a schedule that no drawing describes. Finding it takes trend data, a walk of the plant, and someone who can read the program.
Fixing it is usually cheaper than the equipment quote that arrives when nobody does.
